V.I. Tikhonov participated in the Great Patriotic War. He lived in Pushkin after the war.
V.I. Tikhonov was awarded three Red Banner Orders, the II Class Ushakov Order, the I Class Patriotic War Order, the Red Star Order, and medals. Captain I Rank.
V.I. Tikhonov was buried at the Kazanskoye Cemetery.\n
