During his administration in St. Petersburg, the urban construction had livened up (inter alia, with the help of the administrative pressure on landowners); Naval Cadet Corps School (1752), the Academy of Arts (1757) were instituted, the 1st obstetrical school in Russia was opened (1757), etc. He was buried at Lazarevskoe Cemetery of Alexander Nevsky Lavra.<br/><br/>References: Длуголенский Я.
